Presenter Bio
Joshua Rivedal, Mental Nutritionist, is the creator and founder of Changing Minds: A Mental Health Based Curriculum, Mental Nutrition Pyramid, and The i’Mpossible Project, an organization that creates seminars, workshops, curriculum, and books designed to entertain, educate, and engage on mental nutrition. Joshua has previously worked on the marketing team of the world’s best-selling author James Patterson and has helped numerous small business owners start up, bringing in new revenue of over 1 million dollars. He is trained in community counseling from the Southern California Counseling Center; human capital management with an emphasis in coaching from New York University; and is also trained in suicide prevention programs QPR and ASIST which are both on the U.S. national best practices registry, and the teacher’s edition of emotional intelligence at Yale University’s Center for Emotional Intelligence. He has spoken about suicide prevention, mental health, and more at over 400 locations across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia. He created and teaches an accredited 3-hour continuing education course on suicide prevention in Washington State for various certified professionals. He currently serves on the advisory board of Elevatr, a startup peer-to-peer mental health app. He is author of five books and his second book, The i’Mpossible Project: Volume 1—Reengaging with Life, Creating a New You, debuted #1 in its category on Amazon in January 2016. He has written and blogged on business and mental nutrition for sites like Huffington Post and Medium, and has been featured in The Telegraph (UK) and ABC Radio Australia. Joshua practices Tae Kwan Do, plays badminton recreationally, speaks a little Spanish, French, and Norwegian, and enjoys history and musical theatre.
